Clínicas especializadas en Estados Unidos y el mundo:

En todo el mundo encontrará clínicas especializadas en síndrome de Down que podrán ayudarle, algunas se especializan en adultos con SD y otras en niños de 0 a 18 años. Estas clínicas independientes proveen diferentes servicios, que pueden incluir: Consulta Genética, salud y desarrollo, terapia ocupacional, evaluaciones sicológicas y/o pueden referirle a especialistas en cualquier área afectada. Debido a que cada individuo con MDS (Mosaico Down) tiene un porcentaje de sus células afectadas por el síndrome, es recomendable que un especialistaque que tenga experiencia en atender a personas que padecen síndrome de Down le realice una evaluación a la persona afectada. No es esencial visitar una clínica especializada en síndrome de Down, pero es conveniente realizar una visita a la misma si esta cerca de su lugar de residencia. Como un servicio adicional incluimos un listado de las clínicas de las que tenemos conocimiento dividido por regiones dentro de Estados Unidos y otros países, ampliaremos la información cuando tengamos la información de nuevas clínicas, si usted conoce alguna dentro de su país o región que no esté en este listado, por favor notifique a IMDSA para que sea incluida.
